What is the Hideaway?

We are collaborating with designer Jackie Skelding and Waterworks to bring you the Hideaway (1133 Thomasville Rd, back side of the same building as Waterworks). Hideaway takes over the former Spaceport bar space (RIP Spaceport), and turns into a daytime cafe and coffee bar. The Waterworks kitchen is serving up an awesome all-day breakfast, plus weekend brunch and weekday lunch menu. Our part is, of course, the coffee. 

Tallahassee has a growing coffee scene, with a lot of passionate people working in it. Our mission is to support this community, as well as to bring a glimpse of the variety and creativity possible in coffee. We also showcase some of our favorite roasters from around the country. We are bringing the same attention to detail and friendly service to whole new atmosphere. The vibe is chill but lively, the decor is retro South Florida, and the coffee is tasty. 

Summer is coming (or maybe already here, judging by the temperatures) we have several cold drink options, from cold brew to iced espresso drinks and a few more exotic options. As always, we are constantly working on new drinks and new combinations. But don't worry, our specialty is finding you something you will love.
